A Spa-tacular Event

The Spatacular event.

While clients at Ginger Bay Salon and Spa in St. Louis, Missouri, indulge in spa services at the 8th annual Spa-tacular event on Saturday, October 3, they also know they are helping the families of seriously ill children.

Ginger Bay’s team of approximately 75 stylists, nail technicians, massage services and estheticians volunteer their services for the evening event that raises money for the Ronald McDonald House. For the $100 ticket, participating clients receive a gift bag with full-size product, a Spa-tacular gift, a copy of St. Louis Magazine, appetizers, cocktails and the choice of one of the four spa packages. The Art package includes a haircut or special style; the Science package features the Pure Focus Facial; the Nature packages combines a PureFocus manicure and pedicure; and the Relaxation Package offers a 30-minute Elemental Nature Massage.  The evening includes a silent auction, which contributes to the event’s proceeds.

“We’re expecting about 125 clients,” says Katie Beck, director of sales and marketing. “Last year our Spa-Tacular event raised about $7,400 for Annie’s Hope, A Bereavement Center for Kids. We’re hoping to exceed that number this year.”
