Attendees from all over the world joined Scruples aboard its 8th Annual Educational Fun Cruise November 1 to 6, 2011. Over 350 hairdressers boarded the Carnival Glory in Miami, where they were greeted with a welcoming cocktail party hosted by Scruples’ Co-Presidents, Tracy Liguori, Mia Liguori McHugh, Frank Liguori and COO Mike Riley.

The first day began with a Scruples’ Hair Show in the Ambar Palace, featuring styling by the Scruples’ Design Team trio: David Steiner, Terrence Michael Renk and William Whatley. The ship sailed to two ports of call Ocho Rios, Jamaica and Grand Cayman where the attendees could enjoy relaxing excursions or just soak up the island sun.

On the final day at sea, attendees were treated to more education. They jump started their day with informative technicals, incorporating cuts from Scruples’ Cutting by Design program and color application from Scruples’ Colour by Design program. The Scruples Design Team held an ask the experts session, where attendees could address them directly.

The education wrapped up with a grand finale by Scruples’ special guest and 2011 NAHA Peoples Choice Hairstylist of the Year, Charlie Price, who presented his Scruples’ WHITE TEA inspired collections—Ghosts, Hyper Perfect and The White Album.
