Stacey Soble | September 2, 2013 | 7:38 PM

Third Thursdays
Salon Roux
Paso Robles, California
Owned by: Jacque Leonard

Originally created to develop as a co-branded customer appreciation day, Salon Roux’s Third Thursdays have evolved over a four-year period to be its most successful retail venue with record sales that continue to grow. Marketed through email newsletters, social media, the salon’s website and in-salon signage, the Third Thursdays offer salon guests discounts on retail purchases all day while marrying each shopping experience with a themed afternoon event. “Over the years, we’ve hosted book signings, holistic discussions, photography exhibits, local world-class chefs; featured dozens of local wineries, micro-breweries, bakeries, chocolatiers, and clothing and jewelry designers; and featured beauty services such as spray tans, henna artists, market artists,” says Leonard. “We appreciate our customer’s loyalty and the significant retail sales numbers that Third Thursdays generate, and our guests appreciate what we do for them.
