René Furterer launched its new Head Spa Purifying Scrub Detox, a scalp reset to invigorate the hair and rebalance the scalp. The new Purifying Scrub Detox joins the brand’s Head Spa range, also comprised of Head Spa Complexe 5 Stimulating Plant Concentrate and Head Spa Astera Soothing Concentrate.
Ideal for those looking for a gentle scalp scrub to exfoliate stubborn oil, dirt, and product build-up, it gently exfoliates to leave the scalp feeling revitalized and refreshed. Featuring a blend of plant-based exfoliants and barrier balancing ingredients, including Sea Salt, Activated Plant-based Charcoal, Orange Essential Oil, and Aloe Vera, the scrub is also vegan and biodegradable.

"This range is comprised of three key products that are all made with 99-100% naturally derived ingredients," continues MacLay.
"The newest product to join the scalp focused line is the Purifying Detox Scrub. With ingredients like aloe vera, orange essential oil, activated plant based charcoal, and sea salt, this product truly delivers.
"Using the tip from the tube apply directly to the scalp; I like to section the hair into four or five sections to make applying easier. Gently massage the scrub from the base of your head moving towards the forehead for three minutes. Simply rinse and follow with a good RF shampoo and conditioner. This hero product is perfect for eliminating any buildup on the scalp, which can come from oil, dead skin cells and product buildup. I love to use this product once a week to keep the scalp hydrated soothed and healthy.

"Simply apply to the scalp and gently massage it in. Once you’ve massaged; leave it sit for 5-10 minutes. You may experience a warm tingling sensation but that’s the product design. This is a pre-shampoo cooling treatment that can be applied once to twice a week.
"Give the bottle a good shake and work it into the entire scalp working in sections. Once applied gently massage and let sit for 5-10 min. Be sure to shampoo twice to ensure the concentrate is fully removed from the scalp and hair. Avoid using it two days before or after a salon chemical treatment.
