SALON TODAY announces its 2017 Salons of the Year, with The Boulevard Salon Company in Webster Groves, Missouri, winning the Grand-Prize; Dasi Salon in Livingston, New Jersey capturing First Runner-Up; Bella Rinova Salon in Houston sliding into Second Runner-Up; and Champagne Nail Lounge in Los Angeles, earning the Third Runner-Up as well as our first NAILS Salon of the Year. Take a tour of these salons, as well as our 16 Salons of Distinction.

With its jaw-dropping, 30-foot lamella ceiling, beautiful stations of repurposed barn wood, and careful consideration of all its clients, The Boulevard Hair Company, owned by Abigail Culleton and Sierra VanMeter captures the hearts of the Salons of the Year judges and the grand prize for 2017. A unique view of the salon floor from its mezzanine level will grace the cover of Salon Today May-June 2017 and the salon will hold the title of Salon of the Year for 2017.
First Runner-Up Dasi Salon, owned by Jennifer and Leandro Da Silva in Livingston, New Jersey, scored high points with its posh white marble surfaces, black detailed walls, gold-accented mirrors and retail shelving and pops of royal blue.
Second Runner-Up Bella Rinova Salon, owned by Lynette Davis in Houston, Texas, was a favorite for it exterior walls of glass offering spectacular views, lush chandeliers and stations, its VIP styling room and an outdoor terrace for clients who want to enjoy lunch or some private time while their color processes.
And, Third Runner-Up Champagne Nail Lounge, owned by Tommy Le, in Los Angeles, earned a secondary honor as our first NAILS Salon of the Year. Designed to resemble a high-class lounge where women would gather for cocktails, the entire gorgeous space is infused with references to the effervescence of champagne.
Not to be missed, our 16 Salons of Distinction offer image after image of drool-worthy design inspiration and design ideas.
