On September 21, Miracolo Hair Studio owned by Michael Guagliardo in Doylestown, Pennsylvania,  hosted a night of beauty and fashion runway show to benefit a foundation launched by one of its long-time clients. The salon partnered with the Think Grey Foundation, which was founded by Jackie Renk and her husband after they lost one of their twin sons, Matthew, to brain cancer three years ago.

“Matthew was an exceptional young who made a tremendous impression on everyone he came in contact with,” says Renk. After a long, brave battle, Matthew passed away at the age of 15.

The Think Grey Foundation was formed to generate awareness of childhood brain cancer and to provide support for families facing this challenge. The foundation undertakes programs to help educate the public, raise funds for research and provide direct support to families grappling with the exorbitant health care costs.

The salon event brought over 75 women together for a night of beauty and a fashion show. With support from other local businesses, family and friends, the event was a great success. “In addition, being part of this event and giving back to the community is very fulfilling for my talented team,” says Guargliardo.
