Owned by: China Wong

Salon Spa W leverages the relationship they’ve developed with VIP clients with a clever print ad campaign targeting a local upscale social magazine that covers the movers and shakers in their community. The uncluttered ads feature gorgeous black & white portraits of VIP guests with their Salon Spa W stylists with the tagline:  #❤yourstylist.

“While getting ready for the shoot, we roll out the red carpet for these VIP guests, providing Prosecco and truffles while we style their hair and makeup,” says Owner China Wong.
The budget for the annual campaign is $12,000, and so far the salon has spent $9,000 to produce and print four ads.

One of Salon Spa W's clever ads featuring a client with his favorite stylist.

“We also post teasers of the shoot, the magazine release party and the actual ad to Facebook and Instagram,” Wong says. “After seeing the ads, we’ve have had several VIP clients ask to participate in the campaign, and have been excited about the new client referral business we’ve witnessed.”
