As part of Red 7’s Changemakers campaign, the owners wanted to show that the salon can tackle a complicated head of hair and give the client fabulousness. Their hashtag #red7changemakers was integrated into all social media and it was noticed.

“We decided to incorporate the idea into a physical piece of marketing in which clients could participate,” says Jason Hall. “We installed a floor graphic outside of each location’s styling room, so when a client walked out after a service, they were reminded to take a picture of their new style and share it through social media. We then surprised clients who have used the hashtag with a specific promotion or free products.”
