Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Owned by: Richard Hill

In an effort to appeal to their busy target market, Eden Salon & Spa launched a video consultation service on their website to help clients get an in-depth consultation before they walk in the door.

“It saves time for both clients and us, and allows them the comfort and convenience of having the consultation in their own home,” says Owner Richard Hill. “We charge a $25 consultation fee that is credited toward the service the guest selects.”

A short questionnaire on the salon’s site asks foundational questions about the client’s hair color, length, texture and aspirations about what they want it to look like. After the questionnaire is completed, the salon sets up a time to video chat with the client through FaceTime, Skype or Google Hangouts.

The new website function cost $900 for copywriting, design, website installation and social media promotion.
