Jerry Gordon

Internationally acclaimed salon owner and beauty industry icon Jerry Gordon was constantly creating, teaching and giving back to the professional beauty community he loved, all throughout his 50-year career.

In a powerful video premiered at the Intercoiffure Atelier weeks before his November 2015 passing, Gordon summarizes key changes in the beauty business over the past five decades, and how those shifts have impacted salon economics, with advice on how salons and stylists must continue to adapt. (Of his many beauty and business achievements, Gordon may be best known for pioneering and sharing the "Double Shifting" salon method.)

To continue spreading Gordon's salon wisdom and practical advice among current and future salon professionals, his wife and salon co-owner Karen Gordon is making this video available to salon professionals, with proceeds supporting the presentation of Intercoiffure America/Canada's Artistic Team at the World Congress in Shanghai.
