On Saturday, December 1, barbering, bikes, American Crew and Bellus Academy will come together to celebrate the opening of Bellus Academy’s Chlula Vista, CA campus. From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. the “Style for the Road” event will feature style demonstrations by some of American Crew’s most accomplished guest artists and offer free haircuts to guests. Covering all the excitement on the Bellus Academy Instagram (@bellusacademy) will be Joico Brand Ambassador and Beauty Boss, Larisa Love @larisadoll.

The event will also pay homage to a partnership between American Crew and Harley Davidson celebrating the road-ready style of American men, as the iconic motorcycle celebrates its 115-year anniversary.  From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Bellus Academy will display Harley Davidson bikes and provide guests with free “rides” on motorcycle simulators.  The first 200 guests will receive swag bags stuffed with a variety of American Crew styling products. A lounge area will allow guests to snap a photo on a Harley Davidson bike with the hashtag #StylefortheRoad.

“The beauty and barbering industry is booming,” said Lynelle Lynch, owner of Bellus Academy. “This growth is driving new style and product innovation which will be demonstrated throughout the Style for the Road evening. ”Food trucks and music will complement the evening’s events, along with raffles for American Crew and Harley Davidson prizes. The newest Bellus Academy campus opened in August at 970 Broadway in Chula Vista, CA. Top artists demonstrating trends at the event include Nioxin Top Artist, barbering innovator, and creative director at Bellus Academy Emanuel (Manny) San Martin and Diego Raviglione, Bellus Academy’s creative director. American Crew artists presenting throughout the evening include Adriana Fournier, Patrick Chai and Roni Hale.

“As Bellus and American Crew continue to redefine barbering education and emerging beauty trends, we are excited to introduce salons and clients in the Chula Vista community to our new location,” said Lynch. The event is open to the public as well as barbering and salon professionals.
