Sport Clips Haircuts, a hair care provider for men, is ranked by Forbes as the top Medium Investment “Best Franchise to Buy.”

The 2018 June issue features the third annual “best” and “worst” franchises in America rankings separated into investment level categories. An accompanying article by Forbes writer Karsten Strauss is entitled: "How Gordon Logan Reinvented The Barber Shop And Made Sport Clips One Of America's Best Franchises" and is an "Editor's Pick" on the media outlet's website.

Based on research conducted by FRANdata, a franchise industry research firm, Forbes ranked Sport Clips number one in the $150K-$500K investment category. FRANdata began the study with analysis of 3,300 active brands, compiling data spanning four years, then narrowing the selection to 60 brands that demonstrated longevity, activity and scale based on:

  • System sustainability
  • System demand
  • Value for investment
  • Franchisor support
  • Franchisor stability

“Sport Clips is a franchise investment and haircare provider of choice that's 25 years in the making and stronger than ever," says Gordon Logan, founder and CEO. “Franchisees are looking for a successful investment opportunity with the types of systems, training and support we have in place to make Sport Clips a business asset for them personally as well as to the local communities and individuals they serve. This Forbes ranking is a testament to the high-quality people we have in our system at every level…from the stylists and managers who look to Sport Clips as an employer of choice and work to provide a championship haircut experience to clients in our almost 1,800 locations to leadership that is forward-thinking while taking care of the present. It's a winning combination, and we're grateful to our team members, franchisees, area developers and support center staff who make Sport Clips worthy of this Forbes ranking."
