STAMP 2017: Gene Juarez's Multi-Location Campaign

August 30, 2017 | 8:04 PM

Gene Juarez Salons & Spas
Bellevue, Washington
Owner: Evergreen Pacific Partners

With big corporate residents like Microsoft, Starbucks and Amazon, Seattle is a booming market that constantly grows. The Gene Juarez marketing team knew that meant people are constantly moving to the area, providing a steady pool of potential new clients. The team produced 2,200 client welcome kits at the cost of $2,390, and sent them to high-end apartment buildings, new housing complexes and businesses in close proximity to their 10 location.

Wanting to come off approachable, likeable, friendly, and trendy, the welcome letter starts with a clean white envelope with an eye-catching “Hi!” Inside a brochure, a signed message from CEO Scott Missad gives recipients a bit of salon history as well as an offer for a discounted service or product purchase at a location near them.

STAMP 2018: Try a Guerilla Marketing Campaign

Stacey Soble | September 19, 2018

Two of RedBloom Salon's master stylists took the lead on a marketing project that had some legs. Without telling the team why, they asked each member why they love what they do and collected the responses through an online form. On a Monday, when the salon was closed, the team leaders used window markers to write the responses on the salon’s windows to surprise both the guests and the team members.
