STAMP 2015: Salon Artiff's Single Creative Social Media Post

Stacey Soble | September 8, 2015 | 8:35 PM

Halloween Contest
Salon Art-Tiff
Ephrata, Pennsylvania
Owner: Sue Burkholder

Every Halloween, the team at Salon Art-Tiff dresses up and enjoys a big potluck lunch and clients vote on their favorite costume. “Our staff really gets into it, and we have clients who come in just to see what we’ve come up with this year,” says Sue Burkholder.

Last year, the salon created a Facebook album of its Halloween costumes and invited guests to review pictures and vote on their favorite costumes. “This post reached more than 10,000 people!” says Burkholder. “We’ve learned the importance of not always focusing on business on Facebook—we try for a good balance of informative, educational and motivational posts, mixed with some good fun and humor.”
