Every salon owner fears a walkout, and most will experience one at some point in their salon’s history. For Maggie DiFalco, owner of Maggie the Salon in Pembroke Pines, Florida, that dark day arrived in 2011, after five years of consistent growth. “We lost five of our top stylists and revenue dropped 40 percent,” DiFalco remembers.
