12 Days of ST200: Announcing Advanced Education

Stacey Soble | November 25, 2012 | 12:55 AM

12 Days of ST200: Announcing Advanced EducationThrough advanced education programs, salons and spas not only gain motivated staff with sharpened creative and technical skills, they tap into a continual stream of new techniques and services that can help strenthen their menus and distinguish themselves withing their market.  To assess the strength of an organization's program, we asked applicants to prepare a presentation for their staff members that outlined all the educational opportunities the salon/spa will provide for the upcoming calendar year. Extra credit was awarded to salons that implemented programs that encouraged staff members to seek outside education, established educational funds to offset costs, and established procedures that required staff to share what they've learned with other employees.
