Aveda Announces Congress 2011

It's the ultimate gathering of the Aveda network of beauty industry professionals-stylists, hair colorists, make-up artists, students and salon owners: The Aveda Congress 2011. The Congress festival honors top talent, inspires and educates with technical and creative presentations, and fosters a deep sense of connection to Aveda's heritage of distinctive artistry and social responsibility.

Festivities begin with a kick-off celebration on Saturday, October 1 and will be followed on Sunday, October 2 by technical presentations, an evening performance and an after-party. Monday, October 3 will comprise technical and business workshops, and a tour of Aveda's corporate campus and production facility.

Guest artists taking the stage include Van Michael Salon Team, Ray Civello and Aveda Canada, the Aveda North American Artistic Team, Peter Gray, David Adams, Tippi Shorter, Jon Reyman and Aveda Institutes, Lupe Voss, Yuji Okawa, Ana Karzis and Antoinette Beenders.
