Description on menu: An all-botanical formula created to stop further hair loss and regenerate new growth. The anti-aging action of grapeseed extracts help thicken, energize and strengthen hair from root to end. Hair will become more voluminous with added body.

Products used in the service: Phytopolléine Universal Elixir plus Phytoaxil Energizing Shampoo and Treatment Fortifying Intensive Care for men, or Phytocyane Treatment Revitalizing Shampoo and Serum for women.
How much it costs: $130, includes style. Without style, $60.

How many appointments are made each month: On average, 15 appointments are made per month, but approximately 80 percent of guests add-on a Phyto conditioning treatment. In May, that equaled about 150 treatments.

What is the salon's profit on the service: That changes for men and women: For women, the profit on the treatment only is $34.75. For the complete service, the profit is $76.75. For men, profit on the treatment only is $33. The complete service profit is $75.

How long it takes: 90 minutes with style, 45 minutes without.

Target market: Men and women with aging scalp, thinning hair; postpartum moms.

Marketing tips: Salons can also upsell the treatment with the Phytophanere dietary supplements for hair, nails and skin, as well as send them home with the products.
