As we draw nearer to the season of gift-giving, many clients will be stumped about what to give the teens in their lives. Progressions Salon Spa Store, owned by Cindy Feldman in Rockville, Maryland, offers a solution with Teen HydraFacials, designed to address the sometimes finicky skincare needs of adolescents.

PROCESS: “HydraFacial MD is a non-invasive, painless resurfacing procedure that uses a patented vortex-technology to remove impurities while simultaneously infusing customized serums with antioxidants, peptides or hyaluronic acid,” says Teresa Hinton, Progressions’ spa director.

WHO PERFORMS THE SERVICE: A certified HydraFacial esthetician

DURATION: 30 to 45 minutes depending on the amount of congestion removal and light therapy required. “Results are instant and even better if the facials are done monthly for the first four months,” Hinton says.

COST: $175, $375 for a series of three.

PRODUCTS USED: Hyaluronic-based products with proprietary ingredients including blends of glycolic and salicylic acids, glucosamine, antioxidants, and peptide complexes.
