Marketing is a salon’s way of telling its story in order to attract new clients and encourage existing ones to try different services from the menu. The ways salons leverage marketing to tell those stories is expanding every year, as owners sample newer vehicles like community videos, influencer programs and social media, along with more traditional methods.

Here is the winner of the best Co-Branded Campaign in SALON TODAY's STAMP competition.

Atelier Salon & Barbershop
San Jose, California
Owners: Karie Bennett and Rob Willis
When the lease ended on one of Atelier’s three locations, the owners decided to merge their team members into the other two locations. The salon hired Imaginal Marketing to design the eye-catching announcements in the form of a poster, a banner and an email announcement.

“We knew we wanted to position it to our guests in a unique way and envisioned something fun and fresh to celebrate the merger and create energy and excitement with our guests,” Karie Bennett says.

This is one of only one of 31 marketing ideas featured in Salon Today's September/October S.T.A.M.P. issue. See the others here. (Coming Soon!)
