Lux Salon Spa
Owners: Wade Zylstra and James Cook
The primary goal behind Lux’s new website was to highlight the stylist, and salon did this with a talent agency theme. “Our goals were to create a connection between the stylist and guest, to get our team engaged, and create a salon website like no one had seen before,” says co-owner James Cook.
Photographer Wes Kroninger shot the team members individually, then Imaginal Marketing composited the shots into one group shot. From the homepage, visitors can click on any individual photo to be directed to a specific stylist’s page, which features a bio, gallery of images, schedule, guest reviews and a ‘Book Now’ button. Each stylist has a unique URL that is printed on their business cards, so they can drive guests directly to their individual page.
