The Spa at Whiteface Lodge in Lake Placid, New York designed a service coordinated to the theme of the spa, creating a cohesive and exclusive atmosphere for guests. With ingredients like cypress leaves and juniper berries, the service, called the “Purifying Lodge Retreat,” echoes the mountain lodge atmosphere of the spa.

“This treatment encompasses elements of the Lodge and the Adirondacks,” says Jamie Costa, Spa Director. “We see repeat customers looking to experience a unique treatment, which ultimately increases the sales and success of the spa.”

PROCESS: The Purifying Lodge Retreat begins with a clay wrap containing magnesium, iron and amino acids, followed by an application of oil infused with grapefruit, lemon peel, cypress leaves and juniper berries. The treatment concludes with a full-body hot stone massage.
