In just a few short weeks, it’ll be time to break your winter sweaters out of storage, and haul down your boxes of salon decorations. As you plan this year’s holiday season, Eufora Founder Don Bewley has four helpful steps to get you started.

Step 1: Present the Package
Decide early what your holiday promotion will be. For example, at Eufora we are offering a variety of ‘holiday kits’ to salons this year. Schedule a delivery date for these close to the time where you can host a salon huddle, so staff is updated right when the product arrives in the salon.

Step 2: Prepare the Retail Space
Identify a high-traffic ‘hot spot’ and create a holiday gift center. A central table or free standing shelving in the reception area works well for this.

Step 3: Create a Festive Display
Get creative. Decorate your ‘hot spot’ by attaching things like bows to the boxes and placing empty bags with tissue around to encourage shopping. Place any signage directly near the product displayed.

Step 4: Host a Holiday Huddle
Review the holiday offerings and explain to the stylists that when a client what the deal or “freebie” may be.
