Following the tremendous success of the event in 2014, the Professional Beauty Association (PBA) is pleased to once again bring together distributors from across the country for the 2015 PBA Distributor Executive Conference (DEC). Taking place April 8 – 9, 2015, in Hammond, Louisiana, the fourth annual conference will provide optimal education and networking opportunities for emerging, mid-sized and large companies alike.
This year’s conference, hosted by Neill Corporation – TSP, will tackle the most current industry issues and trends, including sales manager training, planning for future growth and maintaining control of distribution in uncertain times. This year’s guest speaker is author and business consultant Dirk Beveridge. Beveridge’s high-energy engagement and impressive career span pushing innovation in the distribution industry makes him a great addition to this exciting event.
Featured sessions will include:
Sales Training for Managers: Service Based on the Platinum Rule—Commissions and bonuses might get salespeople working harder, but if they don’t have the latest ideas, tools, and training it won’t matter. The key to improving sales is in leading and training your people to excel. Sales Coaching for Managers is a “train the trainer” program specifically designed for team leaders who want to take their organization’s performance to the next level.
INNOVATE! How Successful Distributors Lead Change in Disruptive Times | Speaker: Dirk Beveridge—The professional beauty industry has seen many changes over the past several years—consolidation, mergers, emerging companies, and a new customer base, causing us to rethink the traditional distribution model. Dirk Beveridge will speak about his new book, INNOVATE! and provide distributors with the will, energy, and focus to lead change in today’s disruptive time. The information will inspire distributors to drive mediocrity from their business, change the rules, and break free from the status quo.
Panel Discussion: “Taking the Next Step” featuring PBA’s Distributor Experts—Continuing from the morning keynote address on “Distribution in Disruptive Times,” the DEC panel will focus on the ideas and perspectives that can be used to move your distributorship through the disruptive times onto success. The panel will consist of “forward thinkers” from distribution, salons, marketers and those outside of the industry that have shown how we all have to think differently to compete in the professional beauty industry in 2015 and beyond.
The PBA Distributor Executive Conference is open to PBA members and non-members. Anyone interested in attending must register prior to purchasing tickets. (Click here) For additional information, including ticket prices, itinerary, hotel info, please visit probeauty.org/dec2015.
