Crystal Focus' Kristi Valenzuela and Salon Salon Business Center's Peter Mahoney sign the papers which will make the front desk coaching company the new Front Desk Division of SSBC.

As of November 1, Crystal Focus Salon Coaching, the coaching company launched by Kristi Valenzuela which helps salon owners discover their profit potential by implementing systems to enhance customer service and increase sales through the front desk, will merge into Summit Salon Business Center (SSBC). The company will now be known as the Summit Salon Front Desk Division of SSBC.

“Growing Crystal Focus since 1999 has been an amazing 15-year-journey,” says Valenzuela. “Now we are able to continue with a much broader reach, and create deeper resources for our current clients, as well as those we will serve in the future.”

In addition to the Front Desk Division, SSBC offers the professional beauty industry a  multitude of consulting opportunities, including the Salon and Spa divisions which provide coaching to implement systems, enhance culture and improve the bottom line; the Cosmetology School Division which offers school instructors plans to grow their students’ understanding of additional skills needed to achieve extraordinary income; and the Financial Services Division which provides reports tailored to a salon or spa’s unique business needs.

“The vision of SSBC is to improve the beauty industry one person at a time, so the industry will be strong and prosperous for generations to come,” says Valenzuela.

The Summit Salon Front Desk Division will continue to offer the top workshops Crystal Focus was known for, including First Impression, Front Desk Profit Power, and The Front Desk Doctor Workshop. The company’s top products, including “Anatomy of a Front Desk,” will now be offered on the SSBC website.

Valenzuela will now serve as SSBC’s Front Desk Division leader, and Tari Pearce will be the division’s team leader. Also joining SSBC will be the company’s team of certified front desk trainers, including Amy Naoum, Julie Rapael, Ashley Biehn and Heather Anderson.
