In the past year, Salon Rootz overhauled its service menu and decided to produce two separate menus—a more substantial one that serves as a gift and another for everyday use.
The gift menu was inspired by the Davines line. While appealing on the outside, the menu opens with an array of information on the inside with core services printed on the tri-fold brochure and specialty inserts that can be changed and rotated to complement seasonal offerings, such as backbar treatments for winter, braid bar for spring and Hot Trendz for summer.
“This special menu, which costs about $1, goes in new client bags, and it also accommodates a gift card for a gift purchase,” says Jen LeBlanc, marketing director. “A second, less expensive menu, was produced for daily use, representing the brand from a contemporary, sexy angle.”
