On May 22, Pivot Point Cares for Kids and Pivot Point International will sponsor its 8th annual nationwide cut-a-thon to raise funds for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The center works closely with law enforcement, families and the public to protect at-risk children, as well as works to recover missing children, and has maintained its toll-free hotline—1-800-THE-LOST—for 29 years, handling more than 3.8 million calls. “Since 1997, Pivot Point has been a proud supporter of NCMEC, and to date, our network has raised more than $1 million,” said Robert Passage, Pivot Point International Chairman and CEO. He added, “Last year, more than 100 Pivot Point and AACS schools and salons across the nation participated.” Schools and salons throughout the country can join Pivot Point’s efforts through donations, raffles, Cut-a-Thons and other fundraising events. Pivot Point provides downloadable materials to make participation easy. For more information, visit www.pivot-point.com.
