Cameron Kepford, co-owner of Haus of Heir in Davenport, Iowa,  developed his role as an influencer by encouraging his foil-headed clients to dance with him and posting the videos on social. Now, new clients find their way to the salon with ideas for dance moves and music, in addition to their plans for their hair.

But Kepford alsp understands he needs to leverage social media differently as an owner to market his business, than he does as a stylist to build his personal book. At Data Driven Salon Summit, which will be co-located in Chicago at America's Beauty Show, September 12-13, Kepford will share proven social strategies for Facebook and Instragram, and he'll explain the different metrics you need to follow on each to gauge your success. And who knows, there just may be some dancing involved!

Watch Kepford's interview (above) with SALON TODAY's Stacey Soble where they further explore his plans for his Data-Driven Salon Summit session. To learn more about this year's schedule and to purchase tickets, visit datadrivensalon.com
