Hairstylist Appreciation Day is April 30th this year, and more than ever, owners are appreciating their team members as they start ramping up their businesses again after a challenging year in 2020. SALON TODAY asked salons to share their plans for honoring their hard-working staff this year:

“Since our staff meeting is coming up, I will be presenting each stylist with a little appreciation care package, which will include a succulent, an oil diffuser bracelet, and an essential oil, as well as a handwritten note of appreciation from myself. We will print out all of each stylist’s positive reviews from the last year and include them in their box as well. I felt as though a little self care and some stress relieving strategies were the way to go this year as we have all been through so much. And above all, it is imperative that they know how much I appreciate them and be reminded of the wonderful comments from their guests.”—Sarah Taylor, owner of Impressions Salon in Mequon, WI

We knew is was the perfect time to get the team involved in something positive after this crazy year.
