T3 Shower Filters For Beautiful Hair

T3 recently introduced a line of shower filters called T3 Source, they are a certified filtration system removing up to 95% of the chlorine from shower water for a noticeable improvement in hair health, hair color retention and skin appearance. The Source is available as a shower head, a handheld filter or an in-line filter.

According to T3, clinical testing shows a 64 percent reduction in frizz after only 10 rinses. These shower filters attach easily between the shower pipe and your existing showerhead or shower handle.

Through a chemical filtration process known as "Redox," chlorine is converted into harmless elements that are too large to be absobed by hair and skin. Further, patented filtration technology allows the T3 Sources to remove more chlorine over a broader temperature range than other similar filters.

Most people don't realize the importance of a shower filter, and usually concentrate on getting the chlorine out of their drinking water, when the chlorine in the shower is much worse. Your body absorbs as much chlorine in one shower than drinking a whole weeks worth of drinking chlorinated water. And, it really damages the hair and skin, something that can easily be avoided by installing a shower filter. And although this is a good shower filter, there are better models on the market.
