Winner Announced for Sexy Hair's Caring is Sexy: Stylist Contest

Lee Goodnight, winner of Sexy Hair's Caring is Sexy: Stylist Competition Lee Goodnight, from Hair by Lee and Friends Salon in Orange Park, Florida has been named the winner of Sexy Hair's Caring is Sexy: Stylist Contest!

“We were overwhelmed by the amazing stories each of our 10 finalists told through their videos,” said Karl-Heinz Pitsch, Sexy Hair president and CEO. “Lee became a favorite among our panel of judges and the hundreds of people who voted on our Facebook page.” More than 1,300 people viewed and voted on the finalists’ online videos.


Goodnight was one of 10 finalists who received a flipcam from Sexy Hair to showcase why he should win. As the winner, Goodnight will receive a year’s worth of Sexy Hair product and an all-expenses-paid trip to Los Angeles for a complimentary training course at Sexy Hair’s Institute of Courage.

Following a career in the U.S. Navy, Goodnight decided to pursue his dream of becoming a hair stylist. Today you can find him offering free chemo hair cuts as well as wig trimmings for cancer patients. Here are some other of his accomplishments:

• Organizes “Kutting for Kids,” a city-wide annual event that benefits Locks of Love. He has personally collected over 9,000 inches of hair and helped raise more than $30,000 for the nonprofit organization.

• Volunteers for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and serves as workshop facilitator and trainer for Look Good…Feel Better where he offers free pre/post chemo haircuts and free wig shaping.

• Lee, an avid fisherman, has invented a pink fishing lure which he sells, then donates the profits to the M-Line. The organization funds mammograms for those who cannot afford them.

Sexy Hair donated $1 for every submission to Look Good…Feel Better, a national public service program helping patients struggling with the appearance-related challenges of cancer treatment.
