Skin Authority announces the opening of the Skin Authority Advanced Esthetics Institute in January 2011. Skin Authority will share its knowledge as the authority on skin and offer online training and development programs to busy esthetics professionals worldwide.

“Many skin care professionals today are single parents or are lacking the financial means and the time outside of work to continue their education. In addition, many spas are finding it harder to offset the time and cost of employee training,” says Celeste Hilling, Skin Authority CEO. “The Institute will give spa professionals real-world business tools to meet the challenges of today’s skin care industry. And because of our passion to nurture and grow the spa professional, Skin Authority is offering this education free of charge.”

The Skin Authority AEI will provide ongoing expert education covering:

The latest product and treatment technology advancements

Real world interactive skills to capture, retain and grow client relationships.

The applied science of skin health and well-being.

The Skin Authority AEI will include a series of interactive and online classes that allow therapists to participate from home and at the times they choose. Therapists can earn advanced certificates of achievement in a wide range of skincare conditions, treatment disciplines, and retailing skills.
