In 2013, Hall redesigned the salon’s service menu to minimize paper usage and reduce cost and redirect clients. The salon discontinued the use of a price list which it used to print separately and incorporate as an insert, and now directs clients to the salon’s website for pricing. “We used the same team to design our service menu and the website, so there’s a visual cohesion that presents a consistent message,” says Hall. The new menu features the salon’s logo, mission statement, a welcoming interior shot, a listing of accolades, and quotes from loyal clients.

The new service menu for RED 7 takes a minimalist approach, directing clients to the website for pricing instead of constantly reprinting inserts. This version focuses on the RED 7 mission statement, a welcoming interior shot, a list of accolades and quotes from loyal clients.
