Try out these Apps today!

PEEKABOO MOBILE

When customers see great deals, they are more inclined to visit your salon on a more regular basis. Now there is a free Smartphone app called Peekaboo Mobile that can allow your salon to offer deals on everything from hair cuts to manicures. The app allows the user to pull up a map on their screen, which shows all businesses within 50 miles of their current location that are offering some type of immediate offer.

All the customer has to do is simply redeem their deal at your salon by flashing their phone to the cashier. Peekaboo eliminates the usage of wasteful paper coupons with expiration dates and unnecessary obligations to participate in group buying, scavenger hunts and “check-ins.”

"We have found Peekaboo Mobile to be a great way to stay in touch with current customers and introduce ourselves to new ones," says Danielle DiSciacca, manager of Beau Brummel Hair Salon & Spa in Brookline, Massachusetts. "It showcases our salon as ahead of the curve and in competitive industry, like the salon industry, that’s key."

PHOTO FINISH

Keep track of your appointments, color formulations, products and services for each of your clients from your iPhone or iPod touch. The Photo Finish application allows you to see all past work in each client’s photo history, e-mail appointment and birthday reminders, review your schedule for the day, week or month ahead of you, and more.
