Calling all competitive stylists eager to showcase their creativity! Studio Wish Salon and Colour Cafe, owned by Rowena Yeager, is organizing and hosting, "Hairy Affair," a charity runway competition to be held at the Anatomy Nightclub in Cleveland, Ohio. Three grand prizes will be awarded at the end of the competition—paid trips to Beauty Week 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada, including tickets to National Hairstyling Awards, PBA Symposium and Cosmoprof North America.

To enter, stylists must submit their completed application and included their registration fee of $40 by July 23, 2010. Each stylist will be given an opportunity to present a model in a fashion runway. This year's theme is "In Your Wildest Dreams." Registration fee includes an additional ticket for the runway event. Ticket prices for the event are $30.

Judges for this event will include Scott Buchanan, PBA board member and founder of Scott J Salons in New York City; Eric Manuel of Live Love Be; Derick Polk, former Globe Trotter and Guiness record holder; and Tamiko of Studio LL50 in Cleveland.

All net proceeds for the event will be donated to the Childhelp Foundation. Childhelp is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of child abuse and neglect. Their programs include rehabilitation centers, foster care, and education on the prevention of abuse.
