As the Seattle Seahawks made their way to their first Superbowl win in 2014, avid fans like Elle Marie’s Jody Bossert couldn’t resist combining two of his favorite passions: beauty and football. “The ‘12th Man’ is part of our culture, so we embraced the Seahawks and participated in Blue Friday all season long, encouraging our team to don Seahawks jerseys and colors on Fridays,” Bossert says.

When the Seahawks secured their spot in the playoffs, the salon decided to promote blue and green hair extensions, and asked staff to pose for a picture with the colorful extensions and their Seahawk gear. “The extensions were quite a hit; our Facebook post reached 3,626 fans, and we sold 340 extensions,” Bossert reports. “More significantly, though, it was one more opportunity to feature our stylists and convey our fun, friendly brand.”
