For more than ten years, Essie Cosmetics has supported The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) which is dedicated to advancing research, raising awareness and finding a cure for ovarian cancer. Just recently Essie participated at the Hampton's spectacular Super Saturday summer event on July 31, 2010. The Hollywood-style function was held at Nova's Ark Project in Water Mill, New York and was co-hosted by Donna Karan, Kelly Ripa and Ariel Foxman of InStyle Magazine.

Essie Supports Ovarian Cancer Research FundThe Essie manicure booth was a spectacular hit with Super Saturday shop-a-holics who were anxious to sit down for a little rest and relaxation and beauty pampering. Essie's team of manicurists, who included Salon Xavier's Irina Matveeva and Sonia Ullaguari along with Dana Hunt and Christine Carollo, indulged the guests with polish from Essie's new 2010 Spring, Resort and Summer collections as well as any long standing Essie favorites of their choice.

"We are so pleased to support the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund in this important cause," said Essie Weingarten, President and Co-founder of Essie Cosmetics. "The OCRF does a fantastic job in rallying up a huge group of supporters and we are proud to be a part of it."

The daylong fundraiser included its famous one-of-a-kind designer garage sale where attendees shop all their favorite fashions, along with a kid's carnival, gourmet dining and many other exciting activities. Special celebrity guests at the event included Edie Falco, Christie Brinkley, Rachel Zoe, Star Jones, Gayle King and The Kardashians. The successful event raised approximately $3.3 million for OCRF.
