As an evolving Healthy Hairdresser yourself, you know that you must ensure your own wellbeing in order to stay healthy and strong enough to assist clients in their quest for health, peace and beauty. This approach is key to an initiative just launched David Wagner, owner of Juut Salonspa and a self-described “Daymaker” making other people’s day a little brighter through kindness and inspiration. Wagner has set off on a 30-day journey toward personal fulfillment, with each day adding an activity, food or meditation to his repertoire.

“In order to live fully myself I also must be a Daymaker for myself,” Wagner writes on his Daymaker Movement Facebook page. “I can’t give away what I don’t have?”

On the first of his 30 days, Wagner pledged to begin each day with a glass of warm lemon water. Rich in vitamin C, lemons are top sources for antioxidants, fiber and many minerals. Follow along with Wagner at the Daymaker Movement, or develop your own 30-day plan. We’d love to hear what you come up with!
