Rose Fraser, owner of Hair Reflections in Birmingham, Alabama, arrived to the most recent ARTIST SESSION with one suitcase filled with wigs, extensions and other additions. We asked her which would be the most important pieces she would bring to any shoot.

"This is my toychest," she says of the bursting case. "You need to have one really nice piece, ideally a wig with a thin lace front. If the hair isn't working out, you know you always have this as a go-to." Rose sorted through the hair and came up with her second MUST HAVE. "You want to have some human hair clip ins. These continually save shoots," she says. "Even if the model has a ton of great hair, you can use these to bulk up the finish, or add length or color."

Inexpensive clip-ins, hair tape and hair "toys" are also part of Rose's arsenal which she sees as a worthwhile investment. "It always surprises me how often I end up grabbing something from this case,"she says. "Especially when NOT planning on it!"
