Pivot Point announces Lauren Conway, Senior Manager of Strategic Events for Pivot Point, will now assume a dual role—becoming Executive Director of the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation in addition to managing Pivot Point’s events.

“Lauren has been a strategic player for both Pivot Point and Beauty Changes Lives in driving the Annual Beauty Changes Lives Experience over the last three years,” says Chairman and CEO Robert Passage. “We believe it is a natural progression for her to lead the broader efforts of the Foundation while continuing to manage Pivot Point’s philanthropies and events.”

In addition to her new role with Beauty Changes Lives, Conway continues to manage Pivot Point’s industry event presence. She continues to oversee the Leo Passage Scholarship, endowed by the Passage family and deployed through the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation. She will also drive production of the Beauty Changes Lives Legacy Award and NextGen event on April 29, 2018, at the Art Institute of Chicago during America’s Beauty Show weekend.

As Executive Director for Beauty Changes Lives, Conway is committed to ensuring the sustainability of the Foundation, in both a funding and administrative capacity. “Lauren has been a key partner to Beauty Changes Lives over the last three years, and we are delighted to have her join the team in a more official capacity,” says  Lynelle Lynch, president of the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation. “We’re thrilled to strengthen our working partnership with Pivot Point. Together, our goal is to continue to elevate the perception of the beauty industry by providing educational scholarships for future beauty professionals.”

Pivot Point International urges everyone whose business is fueled by beauty and is inspired by cosmetologists, estheticians, nail technicians and salon professionals to give back to the industry that supports them via support of the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation.
