To help elevate the profiles of the Mario Tricoci team in the Chicago community and build a virtual portfolio of their work, the company began training groups of staff members on how to build a professional Instagram account with brand-appropriate messaging. Technicians are encouraged to post images that reflect their work in the salon, tell the story behind the scenes or that otherwise inspire them.

Together, these professional Instagram accounts broaden the brand’s reach in the market and generate a digital word-of-mouth. The Mario Tricoci corporate social media accounts pull from these images and highlight staff work from the different locations.

“To date, 192 team members have professional Instagram pages with a total number 21,452 followers,” says Kelly Ehlers, president of Evoke Brand Strategies, who helped train the Instagram ambassadors and manages the corporate page.
