Keratin Complex recently announced that industry veteran Kevin Mills will be their new vice president of education.

Mills will be responsible for all education programs and platforms, the Keratin Complex Academy, as well as education at trade shows and events.  He will also oversee the respective internal and external education and artistic team members.  In addition to his position at Keratin Complex, Mills will also continue in his role as vice president of education for the Stars family of companies, where he has worked for over 20 years.

“Kevin’s experience in the education field is second to none.  He has practiced in every space of the industry and is the consummate professional”  Keratin Complex’s Chief Operating Officer, Noah LeFevre says.  “Kevin has an instinctive knack for improving a company’s positioning through his philosophy of implementing education programs that are scalable and help drive sales.”

Prior to his corporate work, Mills has been a colorist at New York's Bumble & Bumble Salon and David Daines.  He was co-owner of Chameleon Salon in Chelsea. During his distinguished career, he was also a platform artist and educator for many leading industry color manufacturers.

"It am delighted to be joining Keratin Complex, a leader in the industry, and their highly talented and motivating team," Mills says. "My goal is to be able to provide our salons and stylists with impactful, exciting and meaningful programs that help grow their businesses, as well as motivate and inspire them to raise the bar in our industry.  I also want to reach new salons and showcase our innovative products in all categories – smoothing, styling, hair color, retail products and tools – that will help them elevate their business to the next level. I intend to utilize education to grow sales and increase opportunities for our salons, stylists and all our business partners in the years to come.”
