STAMP 2015: Razmataz's Blog

Stacey Soble | September 8, 2015 | 8:21 PM

Razzy’s Blog
Razmataz Salon
Georgetown, Texas
Owned by: Rachel Smith

Rachel Smith launched Razmatazz’s blog after taking a class on social media and learning about wordpress.com.

“The benefit to a blog is that it costs time, not money,” Smith says. “You have to be consistent with your postings to see results and make sure your content is captivating your audience.”

Smith’s post about Olaplex, “Blonde and No Breakage!” sustains continual traffic, and her fun post “How much did that cost you, honey?” reached 900 people.

Smith isn’t afraid to take on sensitive subjects. Her blog “I’m Not Happy with My Stylist, What Should I Do?” admitted to clients that stylists aren’t perfect, but the salon has procedures in place when the unfortunate happens.
