A Party for the SALON TODAY 200Almost 400 people, representing 84 of the SALON TODAY 200 honorees will attend a special reception January 20th at the theater within Harrah’s Casino in New Orleans, January 20. The event, graciously hosted by Neill-TSP following their two-day business event Serious Business, recognizes the achievements of the owners of the SALON TODAY 200 salons and spas with a certificate presentation ceremony.

“There’s a real synergy between Serious Business and SALON TODAY, and the event, which features high-caliber business education in the weeks immediately following the unveiling of the SALON TODAY 200, is a natural place to honor these salon and spa leaders,” says Stacey Soble, Editor in Chief of SALON TODAY. “This is the fourth year the reception has been held as part of Serious Business, and we actually outgrew our previous venue at the Roosevelt Hotel, necessitating the move to a theater within Harrah’s.”

The first hour of the reception will feature a cocktail party, encouraging honorees to network with one another. Then, Neill-TSP’s Debra Neill Baker and SALON TODAY’s Stacey Soble and Steve Reiss will welcome honorees, before introducing Howard Hafetz, president of Raylon Corporation, who also is the founder of SALON TODAY. Finally, before presenting the certificates, Soble will play a short celebratory video that’s a compilation of clips sent in from the 2014 SALON TODAY honorees.

“Being part of the SALON TODAY 200 has brought me some of my most cherished friendships, including friends from California, Illinois, Florida and Ohio,” says Rowena Yeager, owner of Studio Wish Salon in Twinsburg, Ohio. “We have become a source of knowledge for each other as well as best friends—friends who also live the salon life every day. Networking with like-minded salon owners has helped each of us become more successful with gratitude. I feel blessed and honored every that we have been recognized, knowing that I am among my mentor and friends—loving salon life and giving back is what it’s all about.”
