Lauren Salapatek | August 26, 2013 | 9:29 AM

In an effort to continually provide education, best practices, peer networking and business support for salon/spa leaders and beauty professionals, The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) has developed one-day Regional Salon Summits (RSS), which have been held across the U.S.

The first RSS event was held in Minneapolis, MN in April, with the second event following in Las Vegas, NV during the 2013 PBA Beauty Week event. The remaining RSS event will take place at the former headquarters of Essential Salon Products on September 9, 2013 from 9:00a.m. - 5:00p.m.

The RSS events feature multiple sessions led by highly qualified and respected industry leaders and consultants. Discussion topics range from marketing and staff development to business management and government affairs and are designed to assist salon owners and beauty professionals to elevate their business, careers, and our industry as a whole with practical information they can readily apply.

Networking with other salon professionals will also take place to allow attendees to learn from one another and discuss common interests and business strategies. The PBA Regional Salon Summits are open to all, regardless of PBA membership.
