Lux  Aveda Salon Spa
Fullerton, CA
Owned by: Wade Zylstra, James Cook

Thanks to a special online deals system integrated into Lux’s new website, the salon is able to do some powerful email marketing. The salon can target any customer list with special deals, and the client can purchase with a click of a button.

“Most online gift card systems can’t handle discounts or bundles, but ours does,” says Zylstra. “For example, for Mother’s Day we emailed our entire customer base an email that went to a special landing page which turned views into purchases. Guests could buy and send instant gift cards right from the email and they had the ability to buy multiple gifts for different people with one transaction. This email alone brought in $10,000 in gift card sales for Mother Day this year.”
