Owner, Vito Mazza Jr. noted “December was a very busy and rewarding month for the entire Vito Mazza family. We donated our time and talents to help raise $17,500 for Sandy victims. Our generous staff and clientele were part of the most successful month of fundraising in our 46 year history.”
Vito Mazza Salon & Spa is also affiliated with Matrix Professional’s “Chairs of Change”, a movement that celebrates hair stylists' unique ability to change lives. “Every day in our salon and spa we have the opportunity to make a change in another person’s life. I’m extremely proud of the personal sacrifices our team makes to “give back” to those in need and am honored to be captain of this ship. The Chairs of Change movement has inspired Vito Mazza Salon & Spa personally and professionally. We look forward to creating positive change in the beauty industry for years to come” says Mazza.
All donations were disbursed to the following: Woodbridge High School Sandy Relief Fund, “We Feed” Woodbridge, Stand for Children, Catholic Charities, Trinitas Hospital, Highlands, Middletown and Union Beach Disaster Relief Fund. Gift cards, food, supplies, and coats were donated to clients of Vito Mazza Salon & Spa, Union Beach Fire House, OLPH and families of Henry Hudson school in the Highlands.
