Aquage For the Cure

Aquage, known for its salon hair care with healing sea botanicals, has promised to raise a guaranteed minimum donation of $100,000 in 2010 towards breast cancer awarness through the sales of the special edition Aquage Finishing Hair Spray and Styling Sets. Since 2008, Aquage has raised over $389,000 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a significant amount that has contributed to great strides in research, treatment and medical discoveries in the effort to find the cures for breast cancer.

"For most of us, becoming a hairdresser was a matter of choice not chance," says Luis Alvarez, vice president and co-founder of Aquage. "We are driven by a genuine desire to help others knowing that in turn our contribution becomes a powerful force in our own lives. Let's join together and help make a difference in the fight against breast cancer."

Through the sales of Aquage's special edition breast cancer awareness products, a minimum of $.21 of each gift set or pink hairspray purchased will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, with a projected donation of over $200,000 in 2010.
