What is the book about?

The book describes continually putting out specific marketing messages regarding your business over a long period of time. Eventually, the messages ‘tip over,’ becoming popular and making your business more profitable.

What did you like about the book?
The book actually describes my marketing practices and puts a name to them. As an example, the type of hair clients we wish to attract are call ‘sneezers’ in The Tipping Point. A sneezer is someone who loves a product or service so much that he or she ‘sneezes’ all over the place about how great it is. And, that grows the business. This philosophy is something I’ve done naturally for years, and the book explains it.

What was the takeaway message for you?
To continually and consistently speak your key messages. To never lose heart. To never give up. Repetition is not boring. Walk the same walk, talk the same talk each and every day, and you’ll be successful.

How does the book change the way you look at your business?
I feel very affirmed about the path I have chosen after reading this book. It’s helped me view business as a fun challenge. We just need to get our clients to sneeze a lot!

Why would you recommend it to others?
Creative solutions are key for us as owners as well as hairdressers today, and The Tipping Point offers just that.
